Fun with the Aunties!

On Thursday Dakota and Dante came over and had supper, and hung out for a while. Alexa loves when other people come over. I think she likes when there is more faces than just mine there sometimes! She was so happy, and enjoyed the evening like we all did! Here are a few of the pictures commemorating the event! She is getting big so don't be alarmed at the pictures, they are not enhanced in any way! haha She weighs 13 lbs already! She has now officially stolen the title "chunky monkey" from Tegan! Sorry Teegs, Lexi out did ya!

Tonight was our annual Sunday night supper, and it looked like it wore both baby and auntie Bern out! haha It was too cute, couldn't pass up the opportunity to take the picture. Forgive me Bern! Lexi loves her auntie though!

Angels Among Us!

Tegan Lily Steckly, a beautiful gift from God, sent from above to bless and touch all our lives and show us just how precious life is. Tegan has a way of lighting up a room with her smile and laugh, and we are all so fortunate to still have her around. Yesterday, by the grace of God, Jade found her just in time. Tegan had thrown up in her sleep, inhaled it and couldn't breathe. Jade found her did everything right, and today we are all lucky to still have this beautiful ray of sunshine with us. I love you Miss Tegan Lily, and I praise God that you are still here little girl. God truely has angels watching over you and your family! 'Thanks everyone who prayed fervently for this precious life, God definitely answered our prayers!

Already!? 4 weeks tomorrow!

Alexa, my little darling is now 11lbs 8oz! She is growing way too fast, it seems I just can't keep up with her! Most of her new born stuff is way too small on her already, but she not quite big enough for the 3 month stuff. Awkward middle stage i guess! People just can't help but love this little chunky monkey!

Baby Shower

The ladies from the church threw me a baby shower on Wednesday. It was amazing how much stuff everyone gave little Alexa, she is already so spoiled. These pictures are of the beautiful cake that was made for Alexa, curtesy of Lisa. Thanks Lisa, it was a beautiful cake, I didn't want to cut it, it was too perfect!

Alexa is just getting cuter every day! I swear she is bigger everytime I look at her. It is going just too fast! I look back at pictures of her when she just came out and she was just too cute, and small, now my little porker is, well a little porker, she is HUGE!


She got this adorable crocheted hat from a lady in our church. It is the most precious thing, and looks adorable on her!

Jade gave me this adorable little snowsuit thing. I love it on her, and it fits nicely into her carseat, even though it is not meant to be in there! lol All I can say is Cabbage Patch Doll!

Alexa was being cute yesterday hanging out with gramma, look at her with her eyes open! She is just too beautiful to describe!

Here Gramma decided to put a huge touque on her head, and this is the result! Just another cute picture to take. Lexi was a bit shocked when the hat fell over her eyes but quickly fell back asleep!

Best Cousins Forever!!

On Thursday my cousins Addison and Tegan came up to visit! I just love them! Addison showers me with kisses and love all the time. Mom and Auntie Jade just know we are all three going to be best friends! I want to grow up just like Addison, she listens to Auntie Jade so well, and she is soooooo cute!

I took some pictures of my girl today. She is growing up so fast and getting so big! It is hard to believe that she is already 2 weeks old! I still can't believe she is mine, I made this little life, and she relies on me for everything, and it is beautiful. God is so wonderful! Look at the perfection he created! He gave me a second chance by giving me Alexa and I am so blessed. I am totally in love with my little girl. Thank you everyone for believing in me, and encouraging me while I was pregnant, and now you can watch with me in wonder as my little girl grows up!

My baby Girl

Well everyone, I would like to introduce you to the newest member of my life! This beautiful little girl is my daughter Alexa Rae. She is the most wonderful Christmas gift from God. I was induced on Monday, December 18, 2006 at 1:00 in the afternoon and she was born on December 19, 2006 at 3:23 in the morning. I think she is the most perfect baby on the planet, I love her to bits and pieces already. She and I are both learning as we go, and it is going extremely well, although I am extremely sore and just a bit tired. She is spoiled already, and everyone is buying her baby's first Christmas ornaments. I have 3 already, haha, and I thought I wouldn't be able to buy one before Christmas! Thank you to everyone who has given me gifts, and to those who are just there supporting me! I love you all! And Alexa loves you all too!

My Pregnant Belly!

Well, I finally got some pictures of my belly! Yay! They are not as sexy as I hoped they would be, I look more fat than anything! hahaha

Here, Zoe kept wanting to touch my belly, and so we got Dante's hands in there too, and this is how it turned out! I think it is pretty cute!

Let it snow, let it snow! Wait...no....stop!!

The first snowfall of the season! And to think, yesterday it was blue sky and no sign of snow at 10 am, but by 10 pm, this is pretty much what it looked like! Waking up this morning was a big surprise! Winter is HERE!

This is what everyone had to wake up to and scrape off before heading out for the day! Almost 3 feet of snow on their vehicles.

Mom plowing through some snow, trying to make a parking space because of the lack of a shovel!

Lets hope this snow is only temporary! It would suck to have more snow piled up on top of it throughout the entire winter! We are expecting 2 more feet tonight! Lets hope we don't get snowed in. That will be 5 feet of snow within 48 hours!

Road Trip!

These are some pictures of our (Jade, Daniel, Addison, Tegan, Me, and we picked Dillon up!) trip to Edmonton, for a wedding. We left at 3:00 am and arrived in Edmonton at 5:00pm. Long trip? YES!! One flat tire later, which we aquired at 4:00 in the morning just outside of Pouce Coupe, which is about 10 mins from Dawson, and a stop to pick up Uncle Dillon, we finally arrived, all grumpy and tired! What a trip! Just to see them cut the cake! hahaha
